Larry Brossoit? I saw Thompson go down vs the Flames, but I assumed Quick would step in.

Ack, Skinner probably should have had that.

Argh, McNabb made a great play on that PP to save a goal by Dr Drai…

Skinner has to get it together. Good lord. Great kill to that point and a highly stoppable shot.

Shore has been out of the lineup, he sure doesn't look to have his usual mobility in coverage in his zone on that last shift.

Not blaming Stu too much on that one. The first one was the one he should have had.

I just took a look at the 2nd one from a different angle. Yeah, Stu should have had that one too…

Stu definitely isn’t at fault, but his glove side needs work in the off-season. That is for sure.

Yamamoto wasn’t on that last shift. They spend about a minute in the offensive zone with Janmark.
What’s the plan with KY going forward? Everyone complained about JP and Foegele and their salaries, but I’d take both ahead of KY.

He's got another year on his salary and would need a big year to make the same money again. I think he's an NHL player, but lacks the production you'd like to see as a true top-6 guy.
The problem for the Oilers is that their GM packed it in early on trade deadline day instead of getting us someone like Van Riemsdyk. We have 5 top 6 players. There's no one else that really belongs up there any more than Yamamoto.

Getting to play almost exclusively with the 2 best players in the world? Yeah, I’d expect a helluva lot more from him. Honestly, I’d rather see Foegele up there than him.
And agree about the trade deadline - I like the additions but another top 6 guy seemed to me to be a glaring hole.

Foegele is equally frustrating. He's a bit of a spaz and I'm starting to feel Marchant-itis with him. Whenever he has a breakaway it's hard to even bother standing up because it's pretty unlikely he's scoring.
Foegele, Yamamoto, Janmark - there's just none of them who'll really impress there.

Haha...That was a Foegele goal alright.
Janmark demonstrating the phenomenon the last couple shifts too. Good lord. At least get a shot!

Good save by Stu, but how the hell did Roy just walk in on net for that shot!?

Better period from Skinner so far. He's made a couple big saves - something he hadn't really done the last couple games.
Leon's just on fire right now.

Lol. How did we allow a Vegas guy to have basically a breakaway opportunity with all our players playing defense in our zone?

Our coverage is so bad. Wish we could take wide open 1-timers in the slot or just walk out from behind the net into the slot and take a shot wide open.

For some reason, they all watched Eichel and let Marchessault walk in for the free shot.
