Another year, another season sweep of the Sens.

SKINNER prevented this from being 6-5, SENS. icon_nod

...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

Completely agreed. A number of Oilers were doing everything they could to give the game back to the Sens in the third, but Skinner stood strong against those providing egregious giveaways.

Looking at you in particular, Bouch. Learn how to play the puck better, and how to provide better defensive coverage if you cough it up.

This also means that he has had the best NHL season of anyone in his life time.

I thought the bottom 6 was excellent again.

Bjugstad is giving the Oilers exactly what they wanted when they traded for him.

Ryan just continues to surprise me. He's OLD but he keeps producing. 12 goals now in limited mins.

Shore, I think he is pretty limited as a player but he keeps playing hard, making plays and putting up points in limited mins.

Janmark is a defensive forward. Good on the PK, doesn't make bad plays. Solid player.

McLeod was a lot better before he left.

Kostin was the least impactful but got the least ice and I thought was fine.

I'm going to say it, I think Foegele going into the playoffs is the guy I would have in the top 6 over Yamo.
Yamo with McD. Over 17 mins, zeros across the board except for 1 hit which was his only stat.
Foegele in just under 16 mins, 2 assists, 4 shots, 1 hit.

I hope Ekholm gave Bouchard a Lou Brown moment from Major League where he gave Willie Mayes Hayes crap for doing a risky style catch on a routine fly ball. "Hey Bouch, don't ever Flipping do that again". I love what Bouchard can do offensively but MAN he needs to give his head a shake sometimes defensively. That pass in the 3rd was soooooooooo bad and so unnecessary.

I have to say, Ottawa did extremely well in the 2020 draft. Stutzel looks like the best player in the draft and right now it's not close and they got him at 3. Sanderson has the makings of a real good dman and they got him at 5.
