The only similar piece was the 2023 1st. A different RS dman was offered to Arizona (not Bouch). Oilers wanted condition on the 2nd draft pick. Arizona wasn’t keen on a condition. Holland said that’s my offer. Went to Poile said I’ve got the 2023 1st either to him or Arizona and it’s his right now if he wants it. Poile asked for Schaefer and Holland said done.
Dreger and Woodguy on twitter have both backed up the Chychrun near deal. Crazy stuff. Also, Brad Holland has played a major role in these last couple weeks. If he becomes our GM after Ken retires/steps away, we are in great hands.

Yeah not a lot of buyers left, teams willing to over pay in futures for an asset to help in this years playoffs.. Armstrong might just snooker himself.

Looks like CBJ just got fleeced by the Kings yet again.
It happened with the Jack Johnson-Jeff Carter trade which lead to a Kings cup
It happened when the Jackets traded Marian Gaborik (while in the middle of their own cup run) for Matt Frattin and a 2nd round pick which turned into a nobody thus leading to the Kings 2nd cup...
For crying out loud, stop trading to the Kings at the deadline CBJ......

Any word on what we are still looking to add? Have a feeling it may be just a depth forward but I wouldn’t mind a RD and RW. Not sure who or how to make the cap work haha.
Wonder if there’s a chance to buy low on a guy like Tyler bertuzzi with a bit of salary retained/sending yamo + back the other way.
