It's probably better for the Oilers to give up an early goal. Maybe two. They're far better chasing than they are protecting.

Anecdotally, I would have agreed with your statement. Until seeing the stats, I had no idea it was that big of a gap.
3D chess is what this team is playing, had the Pens right where the Oilers wanted them.
