I'm back from Mexico and going through taco withdrawal. Hopefully watching my first game in over a week will be a pleasant return to the reality of Sask winter.
I am preparing for the likely let down with a stock of whiskey and cannabis close at hand for puck drop.

It is nice to see some things haven't changed at Oilfans in my absence. Idolizing lesser talented players who try hard, while blaming skill guys, is one of the most consistent traits of a certain group of fans.

Luckily the success of the team no longer has a bearing on my enjoyment. There a few players I am happy to watch, and 2 megastars I feel lucky to see. Other than that wins are just a bonus at this point.

Go entertaining hockey go!
