Love Skinner!

And Hrudey is a generational tool. This exploration of the never ending cope in the mind of a Lames fan we all have to experience in Oilers vs Lames games he calls ... kinda wish it was over.

LOL... outshot 46 - 22.

Nice.

Stu is stealing games for this team. We're so lucky that we have him...

Could you imagine this team with Campbell and Pickard right now? Yikes.

Gotta love Nurse screening the goalie on the game tying attempt from Backlund which subsequently hit iron since Skinner couldn't see squat....

Me thinks Nurse & Ceci increase their TOI by 4-5 minutes per game with lazy passes or clearing attempts that unsurprisingly hems those two in their own zone....another reason why #25 should be paired with more of a puck mover to his right....

Gotta love the reverse karma for all the times our guys put up 45+ shots on a 3rd string goalie only to be stymied with a regulation loss.....rest up and onto Seattle Friday

Stu's the man, but I'm thinking teams may start to run Skinner to get him off his game.

If we didn't have Skinner, not sure where this team would be, but they would not have won the game without him.

Our defence is HORRIBLE. God almighty Nurse is a tire fire, not sure what exactly happened with his game but he's a great asset for the other team.

Money aside, he is just not doing it this year, lapses in judgement, unable to read a defensive play, skinning our goaltender with that lame leg out one side and crouch to block. What is he even doing?

I don't know, I think Ryan Murray is better than that guy! /Nurse rant off

Kulak isn't being much better. Ugh.. Ceci and yes Barrie are the leaders of that squad. Erp!

Teams wouldn’t dare … haha.

The Oil are as soft as butter in July. This team doesn’t have a deterrent and almost zero team toughness. The playoffs will be a challenge if they make and just depend on having Kane as the only guy with a give’a’frick attitude when things get greasy.

It was a nice win by the way. Wasn’t pretty , but like what was posted earlier. It feels good to be on the other side of one those games.

What a sad state of affairs when Barrie is your go to guy.

I kind of want Holland to sell high on Barrie and find a couple lower risk dmen that can eat up minutes and quiet down our own end, but I know it’s a pipe dream.

As for Darnell. Maybe he needs new equipment too? Thank god for Skinner!

Hot take…

I obviously don’t like seeing McDavid take a knee but he kind of turned into Weegars with too little space.

Didn't like it either....but I give Weegar benefit of the doubt as it may have been a consequence of just being deke'd by the great #97

Boy, the whine coming from down south is non-stop.

Apperantly, having a functional power play is akin to cheating (I guess when you are 25th in PP%, thats how you think).

They think they should have got the 2 points because a dork with a spreadsheet says they dominated 5v5.

If we got rid of Barrie I can’t fathom how bad we’d be. Thank the heavens Holland has held on to him with many seasons of people demanding he be moved.

Maybe the problem with Nurse is he was selected by MacTavish.

So was #29....find another excuse lol.

Speaking of the whining from Flames fans, Huberdeau is about to have a very long offseason of trying to rediscover and/or process the game differently.....that cap hit next season = yikes

Shudder to think... if we had no Barrie right now.
