Merry Christmas Oilers fans!!!

What a terrible, terrible effort. Canucks come back and stomp this sad sack BS Oilers squad after they just played a tough game against the Kraken last night and pump the Oil in the last two periods.

Heads need to roll because this team is a dumpster fire when it comes to focus and commitment. Garbage all around.

Do we classify this as one of the most embarrassing losses of the year?

Absolutely dominate the 1st... But again can't solve a nobody goalie beyond 2 goals. And again we get beaten by a below .500 team.

This friggin team.

In a playoff spot by a single point now. Just unacceptable given who we have on the team. Time to fire the management...(although let's face it, it's probably too late).

This garbage dump is totally unacceptable. I get that this team and the NHL are just entertainment, but god almighty... what the actual eff.

What is in the water in damned Rexall. How is this an effing middling team when you have McD and Drai? I thought the days of this team figuring out an identity were behind them, but nope... this is yet another team that is mid-stream in our perpetual rebuild. I'm so PO'd about this dump of a franchise.

The thing is, I don't think the Oilers played much differently than they did against the Stars, Perds, or Ducks. The results were different, but the process was the same. The 3-2 goal was kind of an unlucky bounce off the end boards to a high skill player who was able to converted. If that doesn't happen, it's still 2-2 and who knows what happens. I didn't see a lack of effort or any egregious brain farts.

That's what the Oilers are. They aren't good enough to make their own luck. I watch games hoping against bad luck and for something high skill and amazing. I rate this game 7/10 entertaining, but annoying.

How many games have the Oil lost to no name / rookie goalies this year? Tonnes.

Teams are starting no name / rookie goalies against the Oil because they are supremely beatable. They are not a good team.

In my experience with hockey coaches they tend to play the weaker goalie against a team they expect to lose too.

Well not a great game by the boys.

My boy Nuge gets the goat horns tonight. Horrible on the Horvat goal and -3. Had a breakaway denied and another big chance earlier, but holy crap he was awful on a couple plays.

Wth after a great game against Dallas. These guys need to have their ass kicked. Can't wait to hear Woodcroft wax poetic about this one.

LD not a great game either.

I thought Yams was the best Oiler by far.

The Oilers should be handling a crummy team like Vancouver, but they're only marginally better.

How does this team manage to keep making these kinds of things happen?

Because it's the goddamned Oilers. That's why.

Just when you think they've turned a corner and might be a legit contender, nope, still just a throw away team. Looks like these clowns would rather be golfing at the end of the year.

We should trade for Horvat! He's on the market. Better add than Edmundson!

The Oilers refuse to cover open guys in from of the net still. At least lift their stick. Nuge and Barrie were both very guilty of this on 2 goals. Unacceptable but... Oilers.

Agreed. Won’t do much if they can’t figure this out
