Arizona is not a very good hockey team. That said, what's up with that month-long road trip? Renos to their arena?

More impressed with the low goals against than the 8 spot we put up. Seemed like everyone was more committed to playing defense this time around.
Another "quiet" 4 point night for McD.

They got booted out of their arena in Glendale for non-payment of the lease (the Coyotes said it was an administrative error) and generally abusing community finances for a couple decades. They relocated to an arena in Tempe that's used by the college team. The college arena seats 5000. They're doing a couple months of renovations so the visiting team's locker room isn't in a gymnasium with pipe and drape walls.

Arizona is not very good so I am not going to say everything is now solved but it was nice to see the Oilers come out and just take it to a team they should beat. Usually the Oilers play down to the competition they didn't for a change.

I thought Yamo had a good game and he was playing like he is now healthy which was nice to see.

I continue to like Kostin. Big body, not afraid to be physical, showed he can be tough if the time arises. skates well, gets in on the forecheck. Showing he can score some. I'd have him in if the day comes they are completely healthy.

I think the light has clicked on for Holloway. I thought he was dangerous last night and seems to be more of a factor now even if his icetime is limited. If he keeps doing what he is doing, I am hoping they will feel comfortable enough to play him more.

Nice to see all big boys not have to play a ton.
