It almost can't be an Oilers game without at least some butt-clenching time.

We win. But there is no way we do any post season damage with this D corps.

Like Jack said. They refuse to have a lopsided game.

Two PP goals allowed when Oilers win the initial draw....

What was Ceci doing carrying the puck across his own goalie on the PK with 6 skaters out for the Hawks?

8 penalty minutes for Nuge = ugh

Ton of opportunities to put this game out of reach with another one in Minny tomm....can't say the big guns will be rested for tomm's tilt.

Another solid game for Hyman.

Nice to see Janmark pot one. Was starting to look like a night of only 97/29 again.

Why take the easy path? They looked so dominant and in control up to 4-1.

Nuge just worked himself out of the Lady Byng.

Need a counter award to the Byng for Nuge to have a chance to win something. The Lord Bong award.

I feel the biggest need right now are players that help keep the puck out of the net.

They got the win so that's what matters. THey were the more dominate team and I thought the Hawks goalie played extremely well.

I don't know what it is about the Hawks but the Oilers take a lot of penalties.

Hawks got a little fortunate on a few of their goals. First one Hyman has control and the puck rolls a little off his stick so he does get much on it when he tries to get it out. I didn't love the second goal on Skinner. Short side so there isn't a lot of net to begin with and you get beat low glove. Third one was really unlucky. Puck pinballs off an Oilers shin pad right to the Hawk who is able to rip it in one movement with a great shot.

True, and our goaltending still scares me right now.... Skinner started the season off awesome, but lately he hasn't looked all that great either.... Campbell just can't get it together period so I am not sure what to think... I still think at some point Campbell has to get it together, but he just seems to get worse and worse honestly.
