I wonder how long this Murray and Bouchard experiment will continue for...

Can't really blame them on the Stone goal. I didn't see the first.

They were decent in game one, Bouchard was above 60% I believe on Corsi.

I would like it if we didn't start every game letting the other team score a couple in the first few minutes though.

He and Murray were brutal in the first period of the last game, and brutal to start this one as well.

The Oilers love this "start ultra slow / late" method of playing hockey. Let the opposing team bury you early and see if you can claw back into it.

The team hasn't learned anything from last year.

There should be no way that a team that turned over this much of their core, played more recently than us, and is playing an away game... should be running the Oilers' show like this.

Murray looked bad on that one...not sure what he was doing.

Game 2 and Campbell is already pulled. Yup, and this is what I feared. Please Skinner, take this job and run with it. Campbell is not an upgrade over Smith.

Team playing like garbage. Not really putting it on Campbell.

Heads need to be removed from butts ASAP. Team playing like they think another conference final is in the bag.

Campbell likes to leave his legs open, and not take away the bottom of the net... That's an issue. The D needs to pick it up, but you also have to be able to rely on your goalie to make atleast 2 saves on 2 of those goals.

I’m starting to have doubts about Campbell.

It's one 10 minute stretch. I don't think anyone should ever draw any conclusions about any player for such a small sample size.

It will be good to see how he responds to this with his next start.

Miserable start to the game, but there's a lot of time left.

What we really need is a defenseman who will lay on the ice and cover the bottom of the net for him.

10 minutes of letting the flames do whatever they please in our end. Dissecting goals against just looking at the goalie seems a bit unfair

But it's been 2 starts in a row. I said this same thing after that game, but right away he was in the same form tonight. He needs the team around him more, but I have never thought he was a great goalie, and he's just reinforcing that for me.

I think the pull was probably more of a statement by the coach about the Oilers on their own side of center than about Campbell. Two games in, man, Koski got more rope than you're giving Campbell. I'll be more than happy to get on him, but I have to see more before I do.

I honestly have never thought Campbell was much better than Koski, so that might be why such little rope.

He is a good guy but of the current or former pros I have been on the ice with he's by far the one I was least impressed by.
I am 45 but even in my prime years was a long way from the NHL. Most pro's make us beer leaguers look silly. He seemed to fit in better with us than the NHL'ers

I've heard many times that Edmonton scouts didn't want Yak or Murray - wanted to go Reinhart...

Playing a pretty crappy 3rd period. Team trying to push the limits of how sloppy they can play and still stay in it

They were both drafted with picks the Oilers traded in 2006. Lewis for Roloson, Lucic for Samsonov.
