He played for Toronto at one point, which I think is a required prerequisite for new Oilers players now.

Seems like a guy that can be thrown on the ice to kill time between productive shifts. 250 games and I've never heard of the guy.

-24 on his career. He doesn't seem to contribute a lot wherever he goes. Career high of 5-4-9 in 2019-20. Low penalty minutes, low hits, low shots, low blocks. Not sure how this guy has grinded out as many games as he has...

Ha, that is actually pretty funny. You think players ever talk about being traded for each other if they happen to meet up years later?

Really glad to hear Lennart Petrell is back in orange and blue.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Exactly! I mean, who could pass up the opportunity to have your play-by-play guy yell "And Greg McKegg cracks the goose egg!"

The more I think if it, the more I think he's basically walked straight out of a limerick.

There once was a man from YEG,
Who's name was Greg McKegg,
On the off-chance he gets
To put a puck in the net,
He'll finally break the goose egg!
