HUGE game tonight! I've always thought Game 3 is the big one. If you're up 2 already, winning GM3 is almost the nail in the coffin. If you're down 2, winning GM3 gets you right back in the series. And, if you're tied, well, it seems that momentum can be huge. It would be great if the Oilers could steal back the home ice advantage tonight. Gonna be interesting to see how Woodcroft plays the lines with the Kings having last change. It's possible the Danault and Kopitar play 50 minutes combined tonight. We all know that Todd doesn't mind playing his top guys A LOT.
What happened to all of my messages? lol (I guess it's been awhile) BlueSky: StefBarnes

I like our chances tonight, we don't loose when big Ben's in the building. But honestly now that the boys have a w and shook off game 1 this game should be fantastic

I have tickets to a Chris Stapleton concert tonight. I put my foot down and told the wife I was staying home to watch the game..... ......Looks like I am turning off my phone and watching the game on tape delay.
Musty one tonight, but I think every game since January has been increasingly Mustier than the next!

This game is far mustier than Game 2.

Broberg called up. Bakes is just down the road. Not sure if they want Broberg to watch from above and get a feel for playoff hockey, or if he's going to suit up. Guessing he's there for the view.

I’ve definitely been in similar predicaments before…I always lose.
Spouses just don’t understand how few and far between Oiler playoff games are!

That's funny. I hope the Oilers return the favor in a creative way.
I also hope it was the decision makers out there holding the nets from those big boys and not the arena grunt workers.

I love this type of gamesmanship. I remember the Oilers moved the Stars' bench forward two inches because they felt something unfair was happening at Reunion Arena. Try getting over the boards without knocking your knees now, jerks.

That's good. It means the Oilers will come back, at worst, tied 2-2. Home ice advantage for pivotal game five is important

I suppose it's a little unnecessary to tell him not to change. He wouldn't dream of it.

Definitely tell him to change. Because then he definitely won't. Ideally our media start listing off to him all kinds of great ideas of how he could counter the oilers.

If you are bringing this stuff out in game 3, means you are already desperate and know you can't win.
I don't expect the Oilers to whip them again 6-0 but if the Oilers play how they can, they should win. They are the better team, they have better top end forwards, better depth forwards. They are bigger, skate better, their special teams are superior and it's not close. Their defense is better and more experienced. Even goaltending wise, as long as Smith doesn't fire in a puck into his own goal, at best for the Kings, it's a tie.
