If I know my Oilers, tonight will be a letdown, explained away by travel and shifting time-zones on back to back nights.

I'm still ticked about last night's OT. It was probably the absolute WORST OT execution that I have ever seen from this group. It was as if they had never been on the same ice together. Or they were just happy to get the one point.
(sigh... serenity now. serenity now.)

I think they had just worked really hard for 60 minutes at altitude and had little left. It was kinda crazy. I think Mcavid just fell at one point. He chicken-winged Mackinnin's stick right before the goal. Nobody could keep possession.

I rarely watch intermission and every time I do I am reminded not to do it again for a long time.
This last month every time Mike Smith plays the announcers spend large portions of the game convincing the fans how great he is, regardless of how he has played.
Today, not playing, Kostko playing well; intermission feature on how great Mike Smith plays the puck.
These are our goalies now, I will cheer for them. For the love all things good, stop the endless propaganda, it is embarrassing.
As I type this we get Gene and Chief Wiggum. Apparently it can can worse. Stauffer is the worst.

I like how Stauffer constantly reminds viewers/listeners that he didn’t have the commitment, talent blah blah blah to play pro hockey.
Nobody EVER thought otherwise Bob. Yet he constantly states it. For years upon years. It’s a bit weird.

Grrr, Stars goalie just standing on his head, and then Kostko lets in an iffy one where he should have had his stick on the ice.

Not much he can do when Pavelski bunts one in while uncovered in front of the net.
Edit - Mess blames him for even allowing a rebound.

NHL needs to change how they display their standings. Vegas is up by 1 point but has played 4 more games than Dallas, but are considered ahead of them in the standings.

Im not sure if I agree. Vegas has one more point. Dallas has not won their games in hand yet. We should not assume they will win them at 50% like other leagues. Although Dallas could jump ahead tonight. Hope not. I hate looking at standings and seeing games back. But maybe I am to old school.

Kane with another large one, shorthanded. There wasnt much indication previously that the Oilers were going to tie this.
