Tyler Benson.
Averages 8:38 of ice time.
Played 7:13 with his coach on the bench. Not sure he played a shift in the 3rd period.
No points, no shots. But he was +1. He did have 3 hits so way to blow his per game average out of the water.
What a game!!!! I am seeing the light. 
In comparison.
Niemelainen, a guy drafted the same year. No points but 2 pims, 2 shots, 7 hits, 1 block, 2 giveaways, playing a tougher position. Pretty solid game for him in 11 mins. Was pretty noticeable.

Not sure if comparing a 4th line fwd who wasn't going to get much ice time among 11 dressed anyway, and a D who saw lots of time in his own zone is a fair comparison. I liked MN tonight as well, but he's a large D and Benson is a LW.
As far as Benson goes, maybe you put Perlini in there but although I like his willingness to snipe, he's a soft player for a big dude. I probably don't see the point of getting on a young 4th liner at league minimum when the team doesn't have guys right now that are a lock to be above him at LW. Holloway when he arrives will move Perlini and Benson further down.
I think Benson's +1 was due to a board battle won by him that freed the puck and triggered the events that led to a GF. Pretty effective given his toi I thought. I'd love to see a couple guys in the bottom 6 who can skate and finish guys, but there aren't any. I'd probably deride the GM for that rather than Benson.
