They were weighed down with a crispy starch and couldn’t make the 5 day orbit.

"3rd line" has scored twice already. Maybe Old Fart Tippett finally stumbled onto something.

This Habs team isn’t very good. I’m starting to think they’re not the juggernaut their SCF appearance last year made me think they were.

Hey. Kassian is in the roster tonight.

He needs a crowd to be useful though

Jeez. The lack of response to Kassian plowing through their goalie sure is telling. That’s “decade of darkness” Oilers quality there.

If the Oilers weren't playing "Red Light" Montembeault, this might be tougher.

I swear Bouchard must have a vision problem, he consistently lets guys behind him, its not like he gets beat, he just doesn't seem to acknowledge he's there.. until the guy is past him.. happened tonight.. way too slow to react.

The guy has great offensive skill, great skater, but his defensive awareness is a problem.
Where is Playfair?

It's an honoured Oiler tradition to have this guy. He joins the long legacy of players like Poti and Bergeron and Gilbert and Petry and Schultz and Barrie (That's just the last 20 years).

Maybe keeping him up last year was a mistake, shoulda kept him down in Bako with Manson, Manson seems to develop the D-men quite well.. Bouchard is also pretty weak on retrievals, cycles.. in his own end he's a mess.

Not sure why he's bleeding, but 2 lefts and a knockdown for 44.

I looked at that in slo-mo.. he hit his forehead on the cross bar or post being dragged down into the net by the Hab.
