It’s ok to be wrong. And you are wrong on him. He’s done great! A couple of bad goals, which every single goalie in the league gives up on occasion. Other than that, he’s been pretty damned solid. I am 100% more comfortable when the other team lobs a puck at our net with Skinner there compared to Koskinen.
So stop being a cranky old man and hop aboard the Skinner Express!

I wish we could just mark this box checked but he allowed 3 goals on 17 shots last night, including two of the stinky variety. He makes some spectacular saves, but I’m not convinced some of those are not due to less than optimal positioning. Certainly, I think he plays very deep in the net and I think he gives up some suboptimal rebounds.
I’ll be happy to be proven wrong here, but I’m not convinced he’s the goalie of the future here. I’m happy he got his first road win last night though.
