Left the house 8 hours ago.
- coached three soccer games.
- Costco trip on a Sat was stupid of me
- stood in line for youngest to get his first Covid vaccine.
- Bought new keeper gloves for my son
walked in 2 mins before puck drop. Just enough to pour a strong drink and hit the couch. The day was a bit of a marathon, hopefully the Oilers can put in a good showing to entertain me.
I will hold out hope but keeping expectations low as there is a long list of reasons that this could be a rough one.

I'm surprised that Ryan and Svevior had any gas for that 2-on-1 near the end of the PK.

Holy crap Mikko. Between the PK and right after he made some pretty solid saves.
Russell is the all time leader in blocked shots, does that give him an inside track to HOF status?

Tipp’s flip to the second unit on the PP changed the game. Oil went into hustle and hard work mode.
Stone clearly upset after he turned over the puck. Pedal to the metal. Keep it up!

Goodness me, Broberg looks like he's played over 400 NHL games as opposed to 4. If we can afford to let D men grow like we've done with Broberg and Bouchard, then way hey.
Watching the Vegas feed, they are currently complaining about the Vegas penalty and then claiming that JP wasn't called due to Marchessault complaining about his penalty. Oh and of course that we've been moaning about the no calls on McDavid and Drai.

Been pretty impressed with Broberg's defensive positioning so far. Not a hitter, but always seems to be able to separate his opponent from the puck via good stick use.

I agree. He is better positionally than a lot of guys with no experience. While not a hitter I have seen him shove a few guys around in front of the net so I am guessing he is stronger than I expected as well.

I wonder if his teammates just refer to him as “Bro”.

Three goals, three monkeys removed from backs.
Are we sure that is Mikko in net? Not just with the quality of saves, we all know he can do that sometimes but he seems so much more poised and in control in the net.

He was never brought here for his defensive skill, and he does score enough points to make up for the ones he coughs up.

NHL promotes and supports the worst skilled in the NHL.
No surprise seeing as the people running the NHL were all slow, unskilled plugs.

I wish I had the hardware to record all these clips and put it into a single continuous 3 hour documentary and then put it on YouTube as a chronicle to the horsesh_t this guy has to play through every game.

Cant blame Mikko for that one. Fire drill in our end, bad bounce, tough goal. Time for the team to turn things up a notch, been on their heals a little too much this last bit.
