I don’t like the Oilers’ habit of riding goalies into the ground. Play smith until he gets hurt. Play Koskinen until smith is ready to go and then never play Koskinen again. Until smith gets hurt. Then ride Koskinen into the ground until HOLY CRAP Skinner had a good game. Well, then let’s play skinner until…? Koskinen has been mentally abused here.

Also, I hate these jerseys.

I don’t like the oranges either but they don’t have the same goofy look as these wal mart halloween knockoff jerseys.

Would you rather have New Jersey's new... Jersey?

I think i'd even take the old copper & blue pajama jersey over that one!

The Jersey jersey is kind of funny. Those, like the Oilers’ Halloween jersey, should be worn three times and put in the team museum.

Purely based on defensive ability would you put any of the Oilers pairings tonight below them?

Interesting and I hope you are right. I am very concerned about Barrie/Russell. That might be one of the worst D pairings in the league inside our blueline.
We will get a real good look at how Bouchards growth really is as he anchors top line minutes.
Keith/Ceci is what it is, hopefully good enough

Well, Mr. Chimp. After that Jones drop pass I shall concede. No matter what happens from here on out there is a high probability no one is that bad from the Oilers.

Ha, that's pretty fair. I dont want to see how thos d fairs overall the next little bit. They just are not good enough if you take nurse out of the equation, the loss of 4k at the same time amplifies it ten fold.

Broberg looking every bit an NHLer. Definitely more so than Russell at least.

Skinner with another great game so far.

And this might be Keith’s best game as an Oiler. He and Bouchard looking really good out there. Broberg and Ceci too.

Skinner with another great game so far.

And this might be Keith’s best game as an Oiler. He and Bouchard looking really good out there. Broberg and Ceci too.

Agree with all of this. I am pleasantly surprised with the d group all stepping up their games today. Even Russell hasn't seemed to be going full Russell tonight. Never go full Russell.

Broberg looking every bit an NHLer. Definitely more so than Russell at least.

I do agree, however I will temper expectations and see how these 6 do against a good hockey team. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wife asked who #2 is. She's been impressed in this game.

Can't believe someone dumped him in the Oilfans pool!

😂😂 I got an assist from Broberg tonight! Sure, Duncs had 3 shots to Broberg’s one but it had to happen for the time being.
