7 points away from the play off's with 7 of our 9 games against sides outside and clinging to a hope of making it. Win any of those 7 and the numbers come down of course and so tonight has to be a must win, the quicker we get in and give some of the injuries a bit of time to heal.

Looking forward to getting up to watch this one tomorrow morning.

I kind of wanted the Flames vs Oilers in the playoffs......Then I dummied up.

Stick a fork in Calgary. Boot them while they are down. Ignite CP.

Win. Win big! Lots of McDrai points and come out of these two games healthy and with 4 points.

I still kind of want the eastern media to be deprived of their Habs - Leafs series. Kind of.

The current seeding for the playoffs is the best-case scenario in my opinion. Edmonton showed it can handle Winnipeg in the regular season, hopefully, they can get it done in the playoffs. TOR-MTL will be a tough series, maybe end up with injuries and/or suspensions. Then EDM can play a worn-down team.

100% agreed. I was thinking about this yesterday and realized Edmonton losing to Winnipeg in the regular season further helps cement that seeding outcome.

I really really don't want to lose to Toronto in the first round.

Yeah, I don't have a great feeling about this one either. That being said, our last 4-5 games (other than Monday) have been very intense playoff style games. I haven't seen the Flames play a game with that level of intensity yet, so if we can bring it the same as we did vs the Habs & Jets then I think we'll be ok.

Cowpies missing Hannifin for the year, he'll be missed, plus Oil have last change, keep McD away from Tanev, who I think is their best defender.. should be OK.. so my optimism is set on high :)

Light 'em up for 5 pts McD! icon_nod

Leafs resting a ton of top guys tonight. If the Oilers think they still have a chance to catch them, they better win tonight.

Bouchard continues that 'distance' development. Hope he's sharp if he has to appear in the playoffs.

I hope that he doesn't show any rust in his first game back whenever that finally is, or he may never play for Tippett again.

Don't have to worry about him being rusty if you just never play him!

This is the secret brilliance of Dave Tippett.

Also have you noticed how he hasn't had a shoulder injury yet?
