Montreal is on much shakier ground these days... should be a good opportunity for the Oilers to grab a bunch of points and some separation over teams fighting for a playoff spot in the ND.

The Oilers are playing different hockey these days as well; usually a lot of energy and purpose, which is a nice change after years and years of tepid commitment to a team game and strategy. Keep Hab shots to the perimeter and use your speed to capitalize on the counterattack.

Any word on Yamo, by the way?

Oilers are a different team than they were early in the season when they took us for 4 points. Heck, they’re a different team than they were that 3-0 win a few weeks after those 2 Ls.

Habs play tight defensively. Gotta play your game and just win.

The Oilers don't gift teams very many goals anymore like they were to start the season. If the Oilers play remotely well, the Habs just aren't as good of a team. Habs run Danault, Suzuki, Kotkanemi as their top 3 centers. 2 very young, inexperienced centers and a guy who on most teams if probably your 3rd line center.

Damn I thought someone posted lines at practice the other day with Yams back in.

Ah well, better to make sure he's 100%, this isn't K-Lowe's/Tambo's/Mac T's/Chiarelli's team anymore.

I dunno, you'd think Yammer would want to show the coach and management his dedication by playing hurt. Do we really want a guy who waits until he's 100% healthy to get back in there?

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Pfft. Honey badger don’t give a Sh. It... doesn’t matter because you don’t question the honey badger’s dedication during a cat 2 Musty. It’s when the winds blow to a 4 and he’s icing the back that you want that dedication amped up.

Armia and Kotkaniemi added to the list. Both were in the morning skate. So if they are actually positive, could be big trouble for the Habs.

Game was getting too Musty.. Habs immune systems collapse..

Worst thing, travel across the country in a bubble, team gets covid exposure, and the other team has to sit around in a hotel room for an unknown period of time, wondering if they play, or not. Canadian League was doing really well, first game cancelled. Next game might be cancelled as well..

Make the Habs play short handed. Serves them right for going out to a Montreal strip club.

Bah, we finally get a non-11pm start time where I can actually watch the entire game, and it's postponed.

Ah well, I'm sure the boys could use a bit of rest. Go Sens!

For some an 11pm game is an early game and had switched off the computer, put the phone on silent and was watching Youtube waiting for 11 to arrive and switched the TV to watch the game to be confronted by the Rags v Sabres. I had no clue our game had fallen...

I know there's an extra hour compared to the UK, but personally, I always find it MUCH easier to watch these games from Paris than from here (NB). Just get to bed early and wake up at 3 or 4 and watch the game before heading to the office. Getting too old to stay up till 2 and not be a bear the next day.
