Jason Gregor @JasonGregor
Progression of McDavid points/game..
He needed 92 games to reach 100 pts.
Then 85 games to go to 200.
Then 67 games to reach 300.
Then 66 games to get 400.
Then 63 games to reach 500.
Stay at that pace and he will become 11th player to score 600pts before 25th bday. #NHL

Wow, he just keeps getting better.

He's going to end up as a top 5 of all time player, be in that group with wayne bobby and Mario. Tough to pick from due to different eras.

Did Khaira steal that one from him? Thought it went off him before Larsson got a chance to tip it in hehe.

He's a legitimate own goal sniper, move him to forward keep him closer to the other goal?

So why is it Nurse and not Bouchard as the 2PP defenceman? Bouchard acknowledged by the coach as the best shot on the team, but for some reason he's not getting the time there.

Yep. Still keeping him away from that PP.

The kid is silky smooth back there with a great release. Nurse, not so much. He’s not really the sniper his stats are recently showing in my opinion.

Tippett seems to respect tenure more than most union shops even. It's frustrating to see the team fail to put their best foot forward.

I'd be strongly considering putting Bouchard on the first PP even given how many shots he has had and the ability to get pucks through. And Chiasson hasn't been performing on the PP. Can we try something different?!?

I'm still sour that Jones can't get back in over the Cowboy...

Also. Chiasson for the first 1:30 and they get nothing going, then JP replaces him and it’s like they can finally get pucks on net.

Oh perfect. The trifecta of ref fails. Missed a 4 min high stick by a jets player to go with the 2 phantom high sticks on nurse.

Obviously Jujhar Hockey needed to flip his head back and fall down like he died.

I don’t mind Nurse on the PP. He’s similar to Klefbom and just distributes the puck. I think I’d rather see Bouchard over Barrie when he’s not shooting.

Jets just drop to the ice on every hit looking for a call. I hate it, but maybe we need to do it too?

hahahha, could Russell have made a more embarrassing play there?

Passes up the shot, then coasts in towards the slot, then just puts a 5 mph pass to no one.

Get one quick early in the 3rd! Make sure it’s a McDavid point too for 502.

Looks like the refs finally woke up, as the Oil have now been given more PP's. It should have been a bigger margin, of course, but I'll take it. Now, the Oil just need to capitalize at the start of the 3rd....

Typical ref stuff. Embarrassed from their embarrassing performance, so they make it up giving us PP's. It's just an endless struggle of trying to combine finding ways to keep games close and making up for embarrassing mistakes.

What the hell was Smith doing there? It looked like he'd been shot with a sniper rifle.

Big shot, but not much of a screen and from 50 feet. That's one he has to stop.

Smith always falls trying to make saves. Just beat by a straight up snipe there. Everyone just watching it happen.

Russell had the same situation earlier and turned his opportunity into a 5mph pass to no one haha.

Man, did the Jets ever win that Trouba trade.

Got rid of an overrated, overpaid a-hole and ended up with a great player.

I concur.

Barrie is weak sauce.. he seems to get lost when the game gets physical in his own end, bad on puck possession, weak on the stick, average foot speed, not exactly a chess player out there...
Conversely, Bear is about the same size, not much different skating speed, but Bear has a quick stick, quick feet, and quick thinking, and hard on the stick/puck. Happy when we get him back.. hope he's not going to take too long to get up to speed, team can use him. Could use Lagesson back too.

Man Turris... not much better on the wing as at center.. so weak faint

Good to have #3C and #4C consist of both Haaaaaas and Khaira .. Haaaaaas is super good on the PK, adds a lot of speed for the point coverage, gets out further to the D-men, gives them less time..

I have to admit I thought Khaira was DONE, but he's playing a LOT better, seems quicker, and heavier on the puck, and more importantly smarter, way better, might actually stick around..
