Would have been nice if Kahun didn’t take the offensive zone penalty to begin with.

Can’t blame Smith for either goal, but I want to see the Montreal defence where we push the pucks to the outside.

You mean a competent defence. I know, it’s hard to remember what that looked like from Oil defencemen...

We have always wanted secondary scoring from the defense and 3rd/4th lines, but now we seem to be getting it and our top 2 lines offense dries up. Hope that changes in the next two periods.

I don't know...Smith just has to stop SOMETHING at some point. He looked like Koskinen in the Calgary game. Everything was going past him.

Don’t think he had much of a shot at those 2 last period. The first one this period he should have probably had. The 4th goal... would have been nice to get but Ehlers is a sniper.

Wonder if McDrai can get going... the secondary scoring has been nice of late but those tops lines have been... quiet.

Also... let’s go get a goalie icon_wink

When SMITH is good... he's very good.

97 has set up 13 three or four times already... at some point McD has to take the shot himself.

Crazy what a good goalie can do for you, night in and night out. Look at Calgary, they’d be in Ottawa territory if not for Markstrom. I know that term would have sucked near the end but man how great would it be to have him as an Oiler right now?

IM ON THE TRAIN ADAM. LETS GOOOOO!

Shots 19-12, down 4-1. I know some of those were tough shots, but that’s what good goalies do - they occasionally stop tough shots in addition to not regularly allowing soft ones to get by them.

The last 2 games honestly are a perfect Mike Smith sample. Unbeatable one day followed by a few stinkers. If we make the playoffs we’re not making it far with this tandem.
