It’ll be nice not to see our barn littered with Canadien’s jerseys.

Sportsnet has two 4K channels.

And they’re playing the same Toronto hockey game on both of them. Yeah that makes sense

Hilariously predictable that it’s Nate Archibald that moves up to the top line. Sigh.

C'mon, it's Sportsnet, what did you expect? Toronto first, always.

Meh, not surprised that wasn't a goal. The Habs player would have had to punch Price in the head himself before the refs would give them that one.

They can't even supply a decent HD signal for Flames games, it'll be years before they get 4K outside of Toronto.

I'm not faulting Archibald for failing to get to Connor's pass, but that play really highlights how much team needs a GOOD winger to complement him on that first line.

Woof, Nurse just lets Toffoli walk by him. That's inexcusable.

Now hold on, Nurse didn't let Toffoli get by him, because that would mean he was in a position to stop him to begin with,.

Yeah, that wasn't a good penalty for Jones to take. I wonder when Bouchard will get a shot at playing a game?

The Oilers have a horseshoe up their asses, that's why they're not down 3-0 at this point. It seems like they've forgotten how to play in their own end of the rink.... angryfire

I’ve lost count of passes that have either been directly at a Habs player or picked off in some way already.

How is Montreal so good? Look at that roster...

I honestly don't see a team that is really all that impressive. When Danault is your first line center, how are they this good?

After watching this first period, I'm getting the distinct feeling that the Oilers don't really pay attention when watching clips of their opponents. I think most of the team just likes getting on the ice and learning by getting swamped.

By the second game, they've got a game plan.

Just tuning in now. I wrongly assumed that an Oilers home game on Saturday night would be the usual 8PM Alberta time...but nope we now have to live our lives according to Eastern schedule.

Like how SN decided that both of their 4K channels needed to show the Leafs game too.
