I think Tippett deserves coach of the year more than Draisaitl or McDavid deserves the Hart.

These are not the droids you’re looking for?
I mean sure, I’ll take 1st in the pacific, but this is 3 games in a row that we are thoroughly outplayed and we somehow got 4 points out of it. Most concerning tonight is that with Klefbom back, this is just about the best lineup we can ice. It needs to be better.

Big goalie win tonight. Least dominant win of the year. Yeesh, these guys were terrible for a solid 95% of tonight.

Koskinen first second and third star tonight. Only way they win this game! Too bad about the shutout.

12 months ago we were far from onside with Koski, tonight he saved us and sends us top of the division with the end of the season in sight. That was robbery, but and a huge but you need those sort of games when you are not playing well.
This team is nowhere near in form, but they are playing as a team in defence. I can only recall one, possibly two grade A chances we gave up in all the shots that we let them have. Whilst we are sluggish, and nothing is going our way with our forwards our defence is grinding away with some success

They look like they've run out of gas, and the compressed schedule means they play every other day until the 20th, including next weekend's B2B.

Especially Bear.
Looks like the grind is finally catching up to him.

Roll with Kostko a bit now.
Hope we see Nuge-Drai-Yams again next game. Just wasn't the same tonight. Drai gave Ennis some gold and he just refused to shoot. I miss shooter Nuge.

Imagine how much tougher CBJ would be if healthy not to mention if Panarin resigned (never would have).
Koski with yet another great game....
Schedule only gets more brutal as I see 1 day breaks between games until March 21st when they FINALLY get 2 days rest....

Anyone else a little worried about the lack of effort up and down the lineup of late?

Healthier we get the less effort we put in?
Lads better figure it out.

Almost seems like that’s the case.
They said multiple times on the broadcast that word is Connor is sick, so if that’s the case he gets a pass but at the same time. I understand he’s the Captain and arguably the second best player in the world right now ( Most Valuable Prussian [is Cologne part of Germany that was known as Prussia way back when?]) but if Connor is indeed sick, knowing the grind this month is going to be, why not give him the night off to rest and get healthy?

I didn't hear that he was sick but he really hasn't been his dynamic self lately so that makes sense. Nice to have an explanation for it other than that he hates hockey now and has given up on the team.

And as someone who didn’t get to watch even a minute, I just see a big 4-1 win and three, count them, THREE goals from depth. That’s more than the depth had chipped in in the last dozen games!

It's almost embarrassing how many times they are losing puck battles because they get out worked and just out played. Wonder how many turnovers against in that one. Luck prevailed ( and Koski )

Must be a combination of the fatigue and line juggling with new additions/injured players being reinserted....this has to be fixed come playoff time however
The St. Louis Blues won the Cup last year with plugs up front that outworked much more talented forwards of opposing teams in the puck battle dept (Jets, Stars, and Bruins...not counting Sharks bc of their injuries).

Tippett saying they came home at 3am after the road trip.
Hope they make good use of their 1 day break before the next one.
