Obviously biased, but we NEVER get weak calls like that. McDavid will have 2 guys draped on him and ref is like "play on"...

Well, at least the refs gave the even-up call just now...

hahaha, Khaira. What the hell man. Pass right towards the slot to a Dallas player. NOt even close to connecting to any Oiler
I wish he would play 5v5 like he's on the PK. Just clear the zone man (no icing in this case of course), and get the hell off.

They made him the 3rd line center for tonight, too....

Wow this is a bad period. Absolutely nothing going. That PP was junk, and the giveaways are worse than anything on my son's Atom team. Wake the F up!

He's still the Oil's best puck-mover on D, though. I'm more concerned about Nurse's play over the past weeks since Klef got hurt.

Most encouraging thing about all that? Our best Dman is not even playing. Once Klef comes back, all of a sudden that actually looks like and NHL squad. Ditto for our bottom 6 now.

Was that shot not off the skate of Bear and then to the Stars guy?
Still not a great play, but I thought they both shared responsibility. I wasn't sure why Bear came down so far in to the corner - basically right on top of Khaira.
The team hasn't looked great in this one, but not bad either considering it's the second of a back to back with travel in between.
One more period - hopefully they can score a couple more early and cruise to victory. I wouldn't mind another third period like yesterday's...

Suck it up Benn you big powder puff.
As if Ennis would intentionally do that and go short handed in a one goal game.

Oh, Koski, you just know one of those high shots were going to go in, didn't you? You're so predictable in your movements in net....

eek, AA, such a lazy penalty after his brain had a 2 second delay before letting him skate to a free puck in the corner in our zone. Wake up boy, you're not last place on the red wings anymore.

lol, replay showed he never touched the guy that fell, sigh. Hate this league. Any excuse to make up for the missed high stick by Ennis

Honestly, he’s looked like the most technically sound goalie on the planet, after not even 24 hours removed from the other guy.
Not a slam. Just “visually” extremely different look back there.

Holy shirtballs. I know it has become the in thing for Oiler fans to whine about the refs but this is getting out of hand.
The Oilers have played poorly and look tired. As a result they have done a lot of hooking, holding, tripping, etc.
The refs have missed a lot this game but it has been to the Oilers benefit. If I was a Stars fan I would be livid.

Fair ball. I though you meant it wasnt a penalty and he was acting. The sulking is babyish. Pretty funny though when it is a big guy.

Ya, it just seems Oiler fans, and not just on here, but in general, have really cranked the complaining into high gear.
the difference to me is that Oiler fans seem to think there is some deep rooted conspiracy to keep the Oilers down. It's laughable and to me gets embarrassing. I was in Vancouver for a work a while back and had lunch with a couple of Canuck fans/buddies. They were quite humble about both the lack of overall Nuck success and the Oilers. They only thing they trash talked about where how the fans have turned whiny the last two years.
TL:DR
Canuck fans think we whine to much, that is not cool!
