What exactly has Kassian done besides sign a huge extension and score against the Flames to be relegated to 4th line under 10 minute duty?
His contract has turned into an albatross before it’s even kicked in. It’d be nice to see some speed with McDavid on that top line to open up seams.

I've seen enough of 89 and 39 on McD's line coach's mistake taking 44 off 97's line.
Maybe put 93 and Yamo on McD's line let him experience someone who can actually play hockey..

2 wingers that have no clue what to do in their own end (and barely a clue in the offensive zone) with McDavid. Sadly, I can't think of many better options if Drai is getting the only 2 decent wingers on this team.

Yeah, I don't mind 44 there, but he needs another top 6 guy. Adding a solid top 6 winger with speed on that top line would completely change the complexion of the team IMO.

The Oilers generally arrive at a game quiet, don't react to a shove into the boards of McDavid and probably an injury of some kind. You beat the Oilers by singing them a lullaby, because the only way to a pulse for them is to be reactive.
