This is a trap season.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

So what do you guys figure? Start Koski tonight and give Smith the Flames again? I think i'd rather have Smith start in Calgary.

Jim Matheson @NHLbyMatty
Interesting battle tonight between David Perron who leads NHL with eight game-winners and Leon Draisaitl who is second with seven GW goals.

Interesting battle indeed. I'm sure these guys will point out to each other this epic battle they are both taking part in, and both teams will be looking to get their guy the GWG tonight.

He should get put in a 2nd time for his new ultimate hot take persona. He really has recreated himself from the guy that was given the original HHoF induction. That being, the dude lucky enough to be covering the Oilers during the last dynasty.

Niiiiiice. Winning the game within the game. Perron won't be able to sleep tonight I bet. For more reasons than how he probably got a handful of teeth knocked out.

Well lads, not sure what else to say. Gotta bring that same intensity they played with Wednesday.

Sounds like Jake Allen gets the start. Allen v Koskinen. Think that’s the right play, gotta get Koskinen in and Smitty in Calgary is where I’d go.

Oh. Ya. MUST WIN!!!

I’m a bit surprised to see Haas with Sheahan and Archibald. I think I’d rather go with Sam there.

Stealing this from Gabby’s post in another thread;

Oilers projected lineup

James Neal -- Connor McDavid -- Zack Kassian

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins -- Leon Draisaitl -- Kailer Yamamoto

Gaetan Haas -- Riley Sheahan -- Josh Archibald

Jujhar Khaira -- Sam Gagner -- Alex Chiasson

Oscar Klefbom -- Ethan Bear

Darnell Nurse -- Adam Larsson

Caleb Jones -- Matt Benning

Mikko Koskinen

I absolutely agree KR. I get they had optional skates and not full rem skates the last two days but I’m shocked this came out so late (Neal’s absence).
