With an Oilers win combined with a Golden Knights and Coyotes loss, the Oilers will be on top of the Pacific Division again.

MUST WIN.

What happens with an Oilers loss combined with a Vegas and Arizona win?

Also, we don't know if this is a must win until Oscar makes a determination.

I'm assuming we can give this one away until i hear differently.

Man. I enjoyed watching the Flames/Habs game last night. Yeah, I watch more than just the Oilers. End of the second period, Ben Chariot (who had some comments about Tkachuk following the Saturday shenanigans) tried to engage Tkachuk who essentially stuck him with his stick and a small congregation gathered to ensure Tkachuk didn’t get ‘engaged’ with again. Was beauty. Anyway, Habs won, blanked the Flames which makes tonight’s Oilers game v The Preds a MUST WIN for our Kassian-less Oil.

Seriously, these two points tonight would be a glorious mint on our pillow tonight. I’m not talking some lowly dollar store mint, I’m talking an after eight. Mmm.

MUST WIN!

Oilers will be pissed off at the lame/bs suspension of Kassian and take it out on the Preds.

Poor Connor.

Still not sure why Archibald is the guy getting the promotion to the top line. (Of course, last time I criticized that, he scored, so hopefully history repeats itself).

I would like to see Russell down and Benson up soon. Let's see if the kid can do anything at the NHL level. He's definitely not under-ripe now.

All the mouth pieces say February some time. Which I mean, close enough no? Wouldn’t be a bad play. That middle 6 had been playing well. Move Nealer over to Connor’s right side and bring up Benson to play on his left.

And what Yamamoto has shown us is that whether he's able to be a star or not, there's pieces on the farm that are better than what we have here. Wingers are an issue, and we have a guy who's actually outperforming Yamamoto in AHL stats who's 6 months older than Yamamoto and who is probably AT LEAST better than Patrick Russell who still has exactly 0 NHL goals in 36 NHL games (and only 4 assists) at age 27. It's time to call it for Russell - no matter how much the coaching stafff likes his work ethic - we need contributing wingers at the NHL level.

In 6 games, Yamamoto is only two points behind Archibald's 38 game production so I think there's a decent chance that Benson is a better fit in the top six than Archibald...It seems like a real mistake to saddle McDavid with a guy who halfway through the season is still in single digits in points.
