Actual decent effort tonight.

Wish I had faith they could do it 2 games in a row.

There we go. Guarantees the Oilers to be in playoff spot during the Xmas break.

Sheahan-Arch showing they can, in fact, do more than just PK

Again, I realize I may be in the minority here, but I think Holland brings Arch and Sheahan back. And I fully support it. Especially if they can keep up this offensive support. They are 2/3rds of a dang good 4th line.

I think most of us are in the minority with you on that one.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Pah, they staunched the bleeding by beating a mediocre Habs team.

Yep. Keep’em.

As for the game? Two bubble playoff teams with lots of warts made for a entertaining evening.

I'll be the contrarian here. I really liked that game from Archibald and Sheahan, but fourth liners still need to contribute. Any forward who doesn't get 12-15 points at minimum should be cut loose. Penalty killing is an important skill, but it's one that can be taught by a good coaching staff. I don't think you can waste spots on unproductive players.

Now, it's possible that Archibald and Sheahan have great second halves, and then maybe there's a case to bring them back, but I'm sure not doing just because of the PK.
