Oh, hey, look at that. Another MUST WIN!

Park last night. You have your inconsistently reliable goalie in net tonight. Just. Win.

Right now, the only thing I can see in your messages is a tone of desperate pleading. If I weren’t so resigned to seeing this team as a pack of losers, I might share that tone...

Koski is simply the lesser of two evils.

Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference. The degree is arbitary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all.

No morning skate for the Oilers. Tippett will have a media availability at 3 PM. He has already confirmed Koskinen will start.

I wonder if this must win stuff is upsetting the hockey gods.

Sportsnet is calling it a free fall . It has reached the " sucking the hind banana " status of Pat Quinn. Time for a win. Looks like the team has proven they can't score enough without the Duo playing together so why not go back to that and at least have a chance at a W. Hate to admit it but they really are that weak in their bottom 9 forward group.

It’s simple. The team is just not good or deep enough to sustain what they did in October. There were multiple posts, multiple comments from media folk in November saying if the team plays .500 hockey from then they make playoffs. .500 hockey won’t even cut it where they’re at now but is this team good enough for .500 hockey?

It’s been said the last week, several times, in the media how difficult it is for the Oilers to attract players. Odd statements with Edmonton being home to Connor McDavid, no? Sure, players want to play on a team with Connor. But players don’t want to go somewhere they can’t win. You know how to attract talent to play here? Win. Figure it out. Compete for a full 60. And win.
