In any case, thank you Eakins!!

Dallas Eakins’ reaction to being score on is funny. Makes me want to splash water.

Looks like he’s learned more about tactics since his last stint as an NHL coach, as I didn’t notice the Ducks employing the vaunted swarm D...

Kind of a shame no assist for Neal. He forced the turnover.

Seems like a silly technicality on that play. He did everything possible to make that goal happen, the fact he didn't even get a shoe lace on the puck for the A is funny.
I was impressed that Nuge could thread the needle on the goalie. Goalie had all the time in the world to close off that side of the net, but Nuge still walked up and tapped it through.
Reminds me of the play where Reasoner was tripped up on an empty net, he was awarded an unassisted automaticgoal. So the guys that got him the puck (Matt Greene?) didnt get a point. Team Reasoner.
Illegitimi non carborundum.

Opinion: there should be a separate stats category for partial PP’s. Calculating percentages as if every PP opportunity is at least 2 minutes is just goofy.

McDavid gets tripped, but battles to stay up. Ref ignores the trip.
McDavid touches a guy with his stick and he goes down like he's shot. Obviously a penalty.
No honour in this league and the refs want to keep it that way.

IMO, it should not be tripping if the player who was touched was not moving his feet. That was a terrible call.

Ok, whatever Nuge took before this game, he should immediately share with the rest of the team!

I love how Russell pulling a guy up with his stick made him collapse to his knee. Call a dive for once refs.

Should the Oil go on to win this game, there is absolutely NO ONE who could sanely argue that the refs helped them in any way...

Just watch KHaira get hooked and yanked down twice while killing the penalty. Both refs ignore.

Nice to see we’re still playing the “what would we tell Cory” refs as well when facing the Ducks. What an embarrassment.
Anyway - yay for the 4-1 lead.

And Drai quietly puts together a 4 point night for the league scoring lead with 34. Pastrnak and McDavid with 30.

Seems like every shift a ducks player is going down like they're dying. Gaudreau would be a great add for them.

That on Sports Net Ad is terrible.
2015/2016 - This Kool-Aid tastes like McDavid flavoured Drain-O.
2016/2017 - This Kool-Aid is starting to taste like juice.
2017/2018 - I'm drinking this Kool-Aid, in hopes that it's Drain-O.
2018/2019 - Another round of Drain-O, good sir!

2 goals against now with a guy wide open to the left of Koskinen.
better keep playing hard boys, or we will be repeating some 3 goal lead history tonight.

The second one was all on Granlund.. have no idea what was not going on in his head, he backed off a guy with the puck in front of his net ..to try and block a pass to ... what .. the point?

I think I saw Gibson’s cup dangling from the blade of Connor’s stick as he was celebrating the goal...

This Comtois kid is gonna be a pain. Cheap little prick. Tries to get Nuge in the chin with a shoulder instead of playing the puck. Sorry to say, but I am hoping in advance he has a career full of injuries. He's a Matt Cooke in the making. For the greater good the less he plays.
