I thought that goal was going to be count for sure.

Got lucky there in my opinion.

Better be at least 2 games for Perry. That was a completely intentional elbow to Nurse's head.

It'll be completely overlooked.

Not sure Nurse's plea to the refs at the end will do anything to get the attention of player safety either, unfortunately.

Our AHL call ups are our scoring offence.

Think about that statement!!!!!!!

Even though this win hurts our draft lottery position, I hate the Ducks and beating them is satisfying. Good win. Also, really liking Gagner these days.

What Perry did was 10 times as bad, it was an INTENTIONAL head shot, that was NOT the continuation of a "hockey play" (a term the NHL disciplinary morons/Parros like to refer to), if McD's infraction was worth 2 for an incidental hit from a FIRST TIME Offender, then a REPEAT offender in Perry should get 10 by comparison, but ...

Won't even get a fine from Parros... ..once a Duck always a Duck.

Yeah and they were both scheduled to be on after hours too which is a strange coincidence but .....I'll take it. A win against the ducks and leap frogging them in the standings ( even if it is into 13th place ) feels pretty good The Oilers played on their heels and in their own zone a lot in the later part of that game, even before the late penalty. Koski and some luck helped them keep the lead.

It’s a weird feeling being happy at the end of an Oiler game. Nothing like being out of the race to inspire a team I suppose. As much as I enjoyed Perry being upset, that no goal call was probably confirmation bias on the ref’s part. He’d waved it off originally and wanted to be right. Much like the playoff one where the ref called it a goal originally. Too bad our even up call happens in a lost season instead of a playoff series

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

no, Nuge didn't push the Du(i?)ck into the crease and the Duck's leg spun Koskinen around which freed up the puck for the goal. The ref made the right call in the first place and Toronto made the right call too (is that the first time ever in an Oilers case!!?!?!?!?)

I was playing hockey so missed this one.
Always nice to beat the ducks for sure and happy to read that Perry was pissed off. Looks like I need to go find the highlights.

One more win closer to me having to whip up food and bevvies for anyone willing to brave the long boring drive to the Queen City
