Leaving the goalie pulled when gifted a powerplay with two full minutes left?
I mean, the other team can take long bomb shots without icing the puck if you turn it over. Not sure if it was just a bad decision or a lack of confidence in the PP without McDavid.... I mean Spooner.

There's a school of thought that if you're going to go for it with the goalie pulled, you're better to do it early than late - especially if you have a man advantage anyhow.
The one I didn't understand was pulling the goalie again with 30 seconds to go down 4-1...trying REALLY hard for that all-important 4-2 goal...after burning the second half of the previous powerplay with the fourth liners on the ice for 45 seconds.

Old school of thought was try to go 45-60 seconds 5 on 4 with your G ready to pass up any dumped pucks, tiring out the opposition and then pulling the G for the 6 on 4 hoping the opponent hasn't had a line change. How many empty net goals against this year? 7?
