Oh Connor, we thank you for these gifts we receive.
P.S.: Watched the replay of his goal- I didn’t realize humans could move like that.

His team is junk, again. Wonder if he bails NJ next year, probably should if he ever wants to win a cup.

Yup, after the moronic media rewrote the criteria for the award to be 'the player deemed most valuable to a team that barely scrapes into the playoffs only to be eliminated 5 games later', he sure did win it.
All three of the nominees for the Hart last year were a joke and they spit on every worthy player that ever won the award.

Great period from Koskinen and McDavid.
Draisaitl could move his legs a bit more on the powerplay. Or in general for that matter.

Take your illogical hatred for Hall over to the NHL GDT.....
Back to the thread topic.
First few mins the Oilers were sleeping but a couple good shifts capped by the McDavid goal turned things around. After that the Oilers were the better team.
Kiskinen 2 or 3 great stops in that early, sleepy time kept the team alive. There was a real chance they could have been down 2-0 five minutes into the game and we are likely looking at a very different period

Last time someone mentioned the "ping" as the opposition entered the Oilers zone and there was speculation it was Koski.
I noticed in that period he gives his post a very solid stick tape almost every time a player enters the zone outside of the middle of the ice.
I wonder if this an old habit or something he has added to get used to the narrower ice? It was talked about in preseason how he was having trouble with the angles and perhaps that was a method of finding his net.

Ugh, not a good play by Klef on that goal...

Where were the forwards? I see 3 vegas players that were able to get around our net off a play that started in the Vegas zone. Closest forward is Drai who wasn't skating at all. He should have been on top of Karlsson.

I have a hard time blaming Klefbom there...he's back to break up the odd-man rush, and he never had control of that puck. Karlsson doing a nice job on the follow-up there, and then another bad break off his skate.

I wonder what Spooner’s nickname on the team is. Spoons? Spoonsy? Spooner? No wait.
