Meh, guy in all alone in prime scoring position. I'm not blaming Talbot on that one. That was very swarm-esque D with 3 guys chasing the puck into the corner.

 | | Again, Talbot NEEDS to make a big save.

 | | | |

 |
| | |
| | Yep, Talbot never seems to make the save a goalie needs to make to help his team win games. Goalies can't be expected just to make the average saves - NHL goalies are not paid to be average.

 Talbot looks tiny in net.

This seems a little knee-jerk. It's a little early to come to that conclusion.

 2 Cups
 | | Classic Oilers, coverage breakdowns and Talbot 0 for 2 on bailouts, looking like Mike Palmateer in net coverage. Fourth line -2. That'll staple them to the bench. [Updated on: Mon, 05 November 2018 17:30]

All kinds of ice and lanes available for the caps to attack, what the heck is going on? No one is covering anyone.

 No Cups
 | | Thought they were lucky to get away with only being down one, asleep defensively at times. Good PK especially Kassian. You wonder if that was a make up call on Leon.

 | | There's gotta be a better pbp guy out there than Quinn. Oshie ties the game at 2? He's approaching Bob Cole / Harry Neale levels of forgetting what's going on and he's half their age.

Exactly, last year or yest before, at the end of a period he threw the telecast to the intermission crew, but the person he named worked for TSN, not RSN....and not sure if that person ever worked for RSN.

Naw, gotta let him finish, hope he can calm down and make some saves, get some confidence.

Koskinen will be playing tomorrow anyway.

 No Cups
 | | Not bad but too many costly mistakes and can't seem to generate quality shots. Good defense by the Captitals. Lucic played well tonight I thought but no puck luck. [Updated on: Mon, 05 November 2018 19:35]

IMO Nuge has been the best player on the ice for both teams. Working his butt off both ends of the ice. Just not enough support from the rest of the team.
