He had some decent growth arrows in the NCAA. 6 points in his first 11 AHL games is also a good start.
He is 24, so you'd hope he would be ready soon if he is to have any sort of career.
Might be a good replacement for that fourth line RW at some point if they want to ship Kassian off to save some money.

I don't know much about him but I am all for getting rid of as many free agent career AHLers as possible and replacing them with a player like him. Chances are he ends up being nothing more than an AHL but maybe he can turn into something.
