Win !

Man, if Draisatl could plunk in half the EN chances he's had he'd have 65 goals by now! lol

Nuge has no finish, but he can set guys up.. good turn around from last games..

Bouchard still daydreaming out there.. no defensive awareness at all.

Frederick has started skating again.. and Ekholm should be back on Thursday.. so glimmer ahead..

Bouchard has had two good games in a row. He has been steady, quick to recover from mistakes and creating constant zone exits preventing the team from being hemmed in. I am not sure what more you want from him.
Yes, some games the criticism is warranted but this one wasn't one of them. He was the Oilers best defenseman in a game they won 3-1.

Missed the game, but saw that Skinner played well. I had this feeling like I've seen this many times, where Pickard has a great game and ppl start saying he should be the starter, but Skinner immediately shuts everyone up by actually playing well himself after.

So, tried to break down the stats and came up with this:

Skinner playing after Pickard wins his start:
10-2-2
0.925 sav%

Skinner other starts (Pickard didn't win our last game):
13-15-2
0.883 sav%

"We need to get better immediately. That starts today"
- Lowe, 2013

"Next year I would forecast as another developmental year"
- MacT, 2015

5 x $5,000,000

I didn't watch the game, but I watched the ~10 minute Sportsnet highlights on YouTube. There was a very long sequence where there were no announcers, just the clean arena audio. As if you were there enjoying the game without the two guys yapping.

And let me tell you, that was probably the most I've enjoyed watching a hockey game on TV in a while with respect to production. There was even a goal, and all the associated replays, without commentary. I found it much more fun to break the play down myself without the spoon feeding.

I've been banging this drum for a number of years, but I would absolutely love it if we can choose an audio stream when watching these games through the NHL or Sportsnet apps. Choose between home feed announcers, away team, or just plain arena noise.

I don't understand why this is impossible to have. Sportsnet has 47 channels that are generally all give us awful show plus a near infinite amount of online space. Why not give us the TV feeds, radio feed, and in house feed? They already sell different ads for cable and online feeds, so why not give us more. ESPECIALLY in the playoffs when I want to be a full homer and listen to a full homer play call.

Please do not feed the bears. Feeding the bears creates a dependent population unable to survive on their own. Bears.
