The Oilers should have gave Holloway #34, not 36. The Oilers could use an unsung hero like the 2006 Oilers got from Pisani. Maybe some vibes would rub off on him.

Looked up all the Oilers what wore 36 and it seems like it is just one of their go to entry level numbers. Here are all the guys who wore it that switched numbers immediately afterward.
Drake Caggiula
Shawn Horcoff
Todd Marchant
Marc Pouliot
Jarret Stoll
Brad Weren't
Norm Maciver seems like the only one who may have worn it on purpose having worn 37 and 33 on teams he played on before the Oilers.
Maybe some Todd Marchant magic from him tonight? I'll take that.

Good point on Marchant. I forgot he was 36 way back to start. I'd take a Marchant goal tonight!
