What’s all this weird 5 on 5 stuff?

Shouldn’t someone from either team be in the box?

Looks like this is another sleepy first period from the Oil. Yuck.

Whoever instructs this team that wading into games is a good idea is so very wrong. Come on gents... play hard and cover your butts so Calgary doesn't get any transition chances. Team game, but apply some pressure.

Wife and I are drinking every time there is a gambling ad. Solid chance I dont make it to the third.
Pretty good period overall if you like decent hockey. If you are only here for the goals that was awful.

That's a good wife there if she can go with you and hang in there for a drinking game. Mine has all kinds of things going for her but she'd be gunned by the end of the 1st!

Ya, she's a gem. We are getting older though so these drinking games are a marathon. I am a little surprised we are both still at it. I went back to bourbon for the HNIC BOA and so far it is treating me good. Tomorrow might be a rough morning.

Fun game so far to keep it on topic.

Source?

I don't trust any Forbes list or anything on these unless they spell out how they're calculating it. If it's just based on his known earnings? Then there's not much to it.

I mean, I don't even know if he owns the winery and distillery or just licenses his name to them. Here's what it says on the website:
Quote:

ABOUT WAYNE GRETZKY ESTATES
Amazing things happen when The Great One turns his attention away from the ice.

Delicious, approachable wines created from the finest Niagara and Okanagan grapes. Innovative Canadian whiskies, spirits and beer that are changing the game. Whether enjoying a bottle at home or visiting our properties, Wayne Gretzky Estates offers you an opportunity to experience a whole new side of The Great One.

Wine, whisky and beer production may be a world away from the hockey rink, but there are some surprising similarities between the way Wayne Gretzky played and coached the game and the experience you will have at Wayne Gretzky Estates. There is the same commitment to greatness. The understanding that it takes a team of truly passionate players to create world-class results. And the belief that a loonie buried in the ice can always bring a little extra luck.

That's really not clear whether he's THE owner, a minority owner, or not an owner at all...just suggests there is an association with him somehow.

according to Macleans, in 1994 he was bringing in a combined 24.5 million annually through salary, sponsorships and other streams. ($11.6-million-per-season stipend from LA Kings at the time.)

$250,000 now... not unrealistic. If his wines were terrible, they'd still sell because of his name. ow he has a clothing line, wines, whiskey, and a slew of sponsorships still (Wii hockey anyone?)

Again, DOES he own a clothing line or a wine company?

Or does he just rent out his name?

I think Andrew Peller Wines owns the Wayne Gretzky Estates winery and distillery company. Gretz might have some minority stake or just get paid for his name on the brand, but I don't believe he's a majority owner.

Looks like they gave the goal to Drai by mistake. Now they fixed it.

We've had 4 pps...we should easily get another two in the third, which gives us a good chance to win this 4-2 with an empty better.

Maybe we even get a 5v5 goal. I like our chances. Goilers!

I don't know if that's the whole story, he came off the bench for a couple turns before heading to the room with the trainer. Maybe the trainer had to give Huby an enema? confused2
