Well that anthem was something.
What is it with the majority of these US anthem singers? They're AWFUL.

I missed the goal but just saw the high light. Great shot by Nurse but I turns out JP got the tip.
JP-Foegle-Nurse-Tipped by JP for a goal is some fans worst nightmare. Might be forced to give credit.

If McDavid hadn't started that play there would be nothing for simple hockey fans to be happy about.

As the self appointed VP of the Poolparty fan club I agree with you Mr. Pres.
That said, I have no hate for Yamo. I kinda love that little guy!

It is kinda funny how there’s been such a narrative of Yamo v Pulju and how when one was ‘going’ the other was stale… in reality the Oilers need both of them to be better.

Back to Gasm reality, Yamo is doing nothing with the minutes and linemates he’s gifted while JP continues to drive play regardless of his linemates and minutes. My .02

Yep, doesnt matter what line JP is on they drive more positive play and allow less chances against. That's why I made this comment in last night pre game;

Woodcroft seeing if there is a chemistry carryover from the 2nd and 3rd period of last game. That 3rd line seems to have found some chemistry too.

Never thought I would say this about an Oilers' backup tender, but I am confident in Skinner and his ability to give this team a chance to win every night he is in net.

I wonder what the addition/change was to that third line that has made it so much more effective?

Jets are a bigger team. Not as easy to push around. Backup goalie.

Minus the shot deflected by the Bison King, Nurse once again has consistently been the worst player on the ice. The lame _ss penalties this guy takes and weak exit attempts is mind blowing.

I really think the reason the Campbell contract was bad is because Stu is better in just a few years.

Joking? Blind? Stubborn? lacking hockey knowledge? all of the above?

Nurse had a good game tonight.
His decision making this year of when to jump into the play or not has been top notch.
He bailed out the team a few times when other missed a defensive assignment.
Blocked shots.
Made some good passes.
Played 20 plus minutes (I am guessing) against the Blues top 6.
The penalty he did take helped keep the puck out of the net.

Your hatred for his contract/the player is blinding you to the fact he is far and away our best defenceman and outside of McDavid and Draisaitl, the most important player to the Oilers success.

Oilers should be on a powerplay in the last 2 minutes. What a joke ignoring the takedown on Drai.
