This 3 game set against Philly, Chicago and Montreal are just as important a gauge of where we stand as a playoff team as the 3 games against Tampa, Florida and Carolina.

Held their own against the league’s best, now they need to win out against the non-playoff teams. Anything less than 6 points will be a disappointment. 2 points down.

LFG!

Nice defending boys! Strong effort to try to get that 1st shot in our net.

I was wondering where the other D was when Barrie was lolligagging to the net front from the corner. No one else picked the guy up either though.

Did the same. Was so mad at the turnovers in the first powerplay by Drai just killing the zone entry with his fancy passes and then he totally redeems himself. I def have a love hate thing going on with Drai.

Possession was totally in doubt on the boards and they were all getting the hell out of there. Gifted to the Hawks.

Some old habits are dying hard with the Oilers in their own zone, not supporting the exit, and 5 guys evacuating their own zone without possession. Brutal garbage hockey, very very basic stuff they're failing at.

If we were playing a good team this would be much worse. We play down to teams.

So lucky, loose a a goose with the puck on their side of center. They'd be getting thrashed by 90% of the league playing like this.

Oilers whiffed on the puck...........Oilers whiffed on the puck...........Oilers whiffed on the puck...........Oilers whiffed on the puck........... They have said this so many times tonight and it goes the other way. Do we have bad hand eye coordination or maybe its time to take the body and worry about the puck later instead of giving up the odd man rushes. Also Drai please keep it simple on the powerplay, your turnovers are killing me.

Score flatters the Oilers. I don't think their PP SOG is even with their PP opportunities.

I'd chalk this up as a pretty abysmal outing so far, despite being tied at 2. 3rd period coming, wake T F up, boys.

Blah blah end of road trip blah blah mentally taxing gauntlet of TB, Fla, Car Blah blah down Nuge, Jess blah blah (I’m funny coming up with these excuses)

But really... this team is playing down to their opponent again. Same old Oilers here.

Are we not all sick of giving up a goal like this every other game. I agree with the Hawks broadcast. These plays have cost us a few games. Lets say its only twice, what would 4 points do for us right now.

Koskinen just showed why he never became a starting goalie.
Doesn't even look up, puts it right on Kubilik's stick for the open net.
Lazy. Stupid. Too Often.

Sure, if you completely ignore the first 45 minutes when he was the only Oiler who showed up.

Oilers think this is an All-Star game. Just took Koski a couple periods to get on the same page.

Yup Koski just felt left out and made a play to join the 18 other guys who mailed this one in.

Was there a team bender in Chicago last night?
