Just trying to stop McDavid from overtaking Matthews in goals! Gonna end up stopping our season short to make sure he can't pass. Of course pro-rating McDavid's goals would = Rocket in the end, but they won't do it.

you only prorate when it actually affects the team by costing them an asset. You wouldn't prorate for an individual award. And anyways, if the 2015 Calder has taught us anything, it's that you have to play the games. If Matthews plays more games he deserves the Richard.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Guys from MTL would rather get Covid than go against the likes of McDavid and Draidaitl! Joking aside besides the inconvenience of having no Oilers games this week I don’t like the timing of this...on the one hand we get a bit of a break during a busy schedule on the other hand we’re frickin rolling and the Habs are a vulnerable team where I felt we could get at least 2/3
Now we have to play TO after having a week off and who knows when these make up games will get crammed in...last week before playoffs maybe?

They were brainstorming on CHED this evening about having the Oilers play Ottawa this week because it would be easier for Ottawa and Montreal to make up games than Oilers/Habs. Ottawa is on their bye week so I don't know if that could happen.

Reports are that all Canadian Division teams will have their schedules adjusted . Sportsnet must love this "make it up as you go" scheduling. Advertisers too.

Yup. This week sucks. There’s definitely a mental health thing at play here. I had no idea how much I would miss going over to my neighbour/cohorts for beers and hockey. I’m so very thankful there is a season.
I can’t freaking wait for Saturday.
In fairness to Hall, I've wanted to throw a waterbottle at Eakins all season.

Awaiting official announcement from league, but all signs pointing to a game in Montreal this week Tuesday, then the remaining two for May 10-11
