every time I see a weak clear, I check the number and see 22. icon_rolleyes

I concur.

Barrie is weak sauce.. he seems to get lost when the game gets physical in his own end, bad on puck possession, weak on the stick, average foot speed, not exactly a chess player out there...
Conversely, Bear is about the same size, not much different skating speed, but Bear has a quick stick, quick feet, and quick thinking, and hard on the stick/puck. Happy when we get him back.. hope he's not going to take too long to get up to speed, team can use him. Could use Lagesson back too.

Man Turris... not much better on the wing as at center.. so weak faint

Good to have #3C and #4C consist of both Haaaaaas and Khaira .. Haaaaaas is super good on the PK, adds a lot of speed for the point coverage, gets out further to the D-men, gives them less time..

I have to admit I thought Khaira was DONE, but he's playing a LOT better, seems quicker, and heavier on the puck, and more importantly smarter, way better, might actually stick around..

What on earth did Archibald get a 10-minute misconduct for?!

Man, did the Jets ever win that Trouba trade.

Got rid of an overrated, overpaid a-hole and ended up with a great player.

Yeah, that was just straight up robbery. Rangers had no idea what they had.

We need to poach scouts from the Jets.

PP is kinda obsessed with creating point shots now after not doing any to start the season. Find the happy medium boys.

So I think the ref was wrong and that was, in fact, a crosscheck by Kris Russell. Lucky not to be short-handed after that.

At least Bouchard finally got a look on the PP even if it was only at the tail-end.

Someone please just invent robot refs. So tired of the random disasters these refs create for themselves. I just want to watch the players play hockey with consistent rules.

Yep - ridiculous game from the stripes. Phantom calls, missed calls. These guys don't look like they're ready for prime time. No playoffs for them!

And just to prove your fear point, the Oilers put out the conservative PP...

And Larsson and Russell with 30 seconds left on the PP? Ridiculous. Go for the win.

Chiasson can't even tap a puck along the boards on the PP. Have some team pride man, tell Tippett to send someone else out there.

Couldn't agree more. I can think of a couple other wingers, one pretty massive that could occupy the spot and have better finish.

Or Yamamoto - I know he's not huge, but he's pretty tenacious and I don't think you need to be 6'5 to be an effective net-front guy. Chiasson isn't exactly a giant.

Problem with Chaisson is he's too one dimensional.. net front only.. that leaves 4 guys on the PP to move the puck around, he's a minus 1 in that regard on the PP. IMHO to give a more varied PP look for the opposition PKer's it would be better to have a guy that can handle the puck as well as the other 4 guys on the PP, for a total of FIVE, better puck movement, more looks, less predictable, more effective, better PP percentage. I'd consider the Finnish Gronk, or Yama-motor, preferably Gronk.
