I'm sure this will be embarrassing. 5-2 Sens.

I'll be watching. Probably take in the other Gong Show in Ottawa tonight on CPAC, too.

Anyways, Koskinen will get the start against the Senators, and Sam Gagner will replace Brodziak as center on the fourth line. No changes on defense.

Gagner - the only person in weeks to score two goals without the help of the big 3 is centring the 4th line now? We do have the reincarnation of Pat Quinn coaching this team!

I have wondered lately if this team just can’t wait for the end of the season to be rid of Hitchcock. I don’t know what he’s doing, but improbably he’s managed to have worse performance from the team’s depth players than we even had under McLellan. That’s no easy feat.

Thing I’m still wondering - we bring in Viveiros because he’s supposed to be a PP wunderkind. Why has he never been asked to helm the PP all season? I swear, this organization top to bottom is so backwards.

Initially I got upset about Gagner on the fourth line and Kassian back up on the top line, but then I realized nothing matters, nothing makes sense, nothing is going to get better, so why should I care? This team is forever a nightmare and will do whatever it feels like, logic be damned.

Let Kassian get some points and then trade him at the draft. Sure I guess that's a fine strategy.

What will actually happen. Kassian will get some points with McDavid (not enough, but some) Kretzky and Company will think they have found a Top-6 winger solution internally (at only $2M! A bargain compared to a fourth line making $2M), and won't bother trying to find someone this summer.

Anyone hear who starts?

I’m guessing Koskinen as he didn’t play a full game last night.

Watch him get lit up and hooked. 🙄
