When I saw the McDavidless lineup my first thought is that it looked like a preseason lineup.
The type where the rules say you have to have a handful of actual NHL players but the rest are just camp fodder.
Of course I dont wish injury on McDavid but part of me wants to see him out for the rest of the season. There are still some who argue this team isnt that bad, would be a playoff team with decent goaltending and without "unlucky" D injuries.
Without McDavid this lineup might lose to the Condors right now.

You know, Koskinen has had a good night so far behind what is our true top 6 with Sekera finally back. The forward group is... rough.
But I do agree. This team isn’t a playoff team, even in a bizarre year in the west, even with Connor McDavid, even if Koskinen plays on his head.

That’s an Oilers PP.
Anyone recall the Flames PP when Gully was there? Were they fundamentally the same, relying on the cross ice pass for their shots?
Was great to see everyone so pumped for Lars when he scored. I’m a really big Larsson fan, was a guy I hoped we could have pulled of a move to draft. I lost a brother when I was 19 and the following year my team did a family day party for a fundraiser, it was pretty rough for me. Part of me wonders if the Oilers season starting in Sweden and the Dads trip earlier in the year had a negative effect on Adam Larsson. Add to that losing his parter in Oscar for 2 months. I know he’s a professional and all but he’s still human.
