I really hope RDOF isnt gone. He is the funniest villain we have had around here since Sundeep

He's a villain why?

Because he isn't obsessively negative about the team?

Because he doesn't buy into the weird groupthink that rules this website?

I didn't know a fresh opinion bothered people so much.

As I said to another earlier in this thread, why so serious?

I didn't mean it as a slur or insult. I have butted heads with him many times but give him credit for having his opinion and standing by it through thick and thin.

Speaking of thin, your skin seems that way lately, everything ok?

I'm too serious and thin skinned. I guess I'm a villain too.

Nope, you need to be entertaining to be a good villain.

Look at what Lucic back on the 1st PP is doing to us people! Making us all angry and snippy.

I’m glad this thread is entertaining... with this game we’re getting tonight sans McDavid (who’s out sick for those of you not able to read earlier in this thread or the pregame thread)

Right. Despite the decade of futility, we should all be up beat and positive and pretend it is the Penguins we have been cheering for the past decade. Got it.

Why don’t you just hit the bricks if you dislike it here so badly. Seriously.

Does it count as being positive if you're just negative about everyone being negative about the team's management and coaching?

Yes, I am quoting myself..

Was just thinking with it being Dad's night and Nurse's history with Polak I would be fine with a good old fashioned "beat his @ss" moment.

This team is bloody hopeless at scoring. McDavid is gone for a game and scoring becomes an ancient technology that no one knows how to replicate.

I'm hoping that Bobby Burgers is seeing in this game how badly Chia !%!@ed up the Oil's forward depth in his attempts to "improve" the D, then cans him by or before the end of the week.

If Lucic just moves his legs a bit instead of his weak sauce stick....whatever that was, he could have taken care of Ritchie.

Hey, earning that massive salary is a tough job, you know. Not to mention how hard Chia had to work to convince him to come to Edmonton with the big pile of cash along with that beautiful NMC on a long-term contract.

I actually thought he played well in the 1st. Was moving his feet, made smart simple plays and won a couple board battles.

Not sure what happened after that

Flame burned out. He can go for a few shifts, but seems it’s hard for him to even keep pace with Chiasson and Drai for a prolonged period.

You see linemen sucking back oxygen on the bench in football at times, perhaps Katz can bring in a tank for Lucic

If Lucic just moves his legs a bit instead of his weak sauce stick....whatever that was, he could have taken care of Ritchie.

Lazy.

Hey, earning that massive salary is a tough job, you know. Not to mention how hard Chia had to work to convince him to come to Edmonton with the big pile of cash along with that beautiful NMC on a long-term contract.

Maybe he needs to leave his wallet in the locker room

I actually thought he played well in the 1st. Was moving his feet, made smart simple plays and won a couple board battles.

Not sure what happened after that

Wallet? He probably just carries a massive roll of bills wrapped with a band bearing his name in gold.

Stupid, stupid, stupid Kassian.

What a ridiculous time to try and exact some revenge and leave the team short handed.

I switched over to watch MNF and came back to see Kassian having a meltdown in the box. What happened?!?

No one seemed to know. PBP thought he was being escorted out, then they took him back to the box. Nothing explained but he got a ten. I assume running his mouth as there wasnt anything shown on ice.

lol, Kassian. Guess he doesn't think we'll score either, so can just take a ridiculous penalty with 13 mins to go.

Agreed. If he wants to ignite the team, drop the mittens and beat someone to a pulp!

Embarrassing!

Yep.

First was a decent road period. It has been downhill since then. Lots of very bad hockey in the last 30-40 mins

Not because of the loss. I'm immune to that. But, he made me watch Lucic on the 1st PP again. UNACCEPTABLE!

Is it now 2 goals in his last 73 games? and 13 points in that time too.

Pretty incredible to ever see him on the ice in any situation where the team needs offence. We're coming up on a full year with him producing like a fourth line energy guy. Maybe it's time to just accept that that's all there is left there...

Nurse landed a few good ones there... too bad the ref broke that up.

It's amazing how is the refs are to us. Let Nurse go...why jump in there. Man that infuriated me. And Benn can run at Caguilla same as Kasian did..no fn call....then he scores. This reminds me of ball hockey Edmonton reffing...

I didn’t like the ref jumping in there either but I think it’s because Darnell was trying to take Shore’s helmet off. Should have just kept feeding him

Nurse has a great fight face.

If his old man came to every game he might lead the league in fights. Every time he is in the stands Nurses mitts come off
