After he got up from the ice from a blatant non call that should have been at worst boarding or at least roughing. Unreal. Must be the Oilers jersey he is wearing.

It is that ref's 20th career game and he leads all refs in PP/game and PIM/game

Looks like it's us against the refs. Another blatant missed call early in their pp.

Wouldnt be an Oilers v Ducks game without an extra 4 Ducks jerseys on the ice.

Ahh, whew. Was just a little changeup at the end of the period. Probably wanted Lucic to try to take out Kesler's knees :)

hitch better be calling the refs out. Same crap as usual on McDavid. Kesler hacking and slashing endlessly. Just taken out with Cog's stick stuck in his skates. Zero calls so far.

Refs are probably used to seeing Kesler play like a @$!@@, seriously. They must have some sort of mandate to "keep Connor from embarrassing the rest of the league too badly" or something.

While I think Drai's passing has improved this season so far, he should have shot it on that last opportunity.

Overall, this game is showing Hitch's fingerprints on the team in that they have played more solidly defensively. I can't help but think that Talbot will rejuvenate his career with Hitch behind the bench.

So the refs are biased, because that call on Rattie is pure horse#@$@ when compared to what Connor has had to endure so far....

I was disappointed in myself that I forgot to record this game but by the sounds of it, I am not missing much. What a boring, grind it out, sounds like a clutch and grab game where the refs let the old Ducks do what they want.

I can live with Hitch figuring that getting to OT is better than losing, given that Connor is the God of 3-on-3. Of course, wins in regulation are better, but they are playing a good road game so far.

It was close, but that should be no goal, because clearly the entire puck didn't cross the line before Aberg actually pulled it back out.

Honourable mention for bouncing back after the trainer had to tend to him after that slap shot. That was scary when he was laying there on his face not moving. Had to make a similar stop right after the ensuing face off as well.

Nuge looking all-world on that PP. Great back check on a turnover and then pots the goal.
