Minny is just a boring game even if the Oilers hammer them. The bright side is seeing the round man Boudreau get red faced after a goal or penalty call.

Garrison and Benning together on the PK.. weak sauce. That was Garrison's guy, and he should have got the puck out on the boards before that, 56 was heading down ice, wound up on the wrong side of the puck.. his man gets the puck leading to goal..
Everyone does a great job killing a weak slash call on #18 and these two guys can't finish off the last few seconds.

It seems like every time Strome takes a penalty, our PK gives up a goal. Strome needs to get his feet moving and stay out of the box.

Ahh, he's a good Canadian boy from a hockey family. No Strome penalty can be a bad penalty.

He's the reason I would keep watching this team even if they were in the toilet. The Oil had a huge horseshoe up their collective butts when those 4 magic numbers were pulled during that draft.

3rd line is pure chaos in both ends too. Caggiula+Lucic is a wild combo.

Lucic still making hilariously bad plays off the boards in our zone. Earlier in that shift he made a brutal play to almost get scored on, but we got lucky and got it out. Luck obviously didn't last though.

That Chiasson guy definitely looks to have been a good pickup by Chiapet.

Tipping a puck while screening the goalie? Craziness. Lucic can't even do 1 of those things alone.

What can Lucic do on the PP that Chiasson or many others can't? It’s not like he ever gets any touches. I realize his job is to plant himself there, but he is so static while he’s in there. I’m not saying act all crazy like Sean Avery, but there is room for a bit of creativity in there.

It’s like he’s just put in there in hopes to pad the stats on a brutal contract. It doesn’t require a skill player, therefore it seems to be the “may as well be Milan” mentality.

Not much. Thinking very thing. I cringe whenever Lucic gets the puck on the PP and tries to handle the puck.. I think Chiason would be a much better option.

Another coverage goal against. I don't know whether it was even a factor, but what was Lucic doing wandering over to the rw side? Seems to me ther was a guy open on his side.

Chaisson!!!! Off a shot from Benning, who has about 4 min of icetime in this game.

Bad shift by Nurse, skates the puck up the ice for a break, then dumps it in and follows it .. except he doesn't get it by the D-man .. 2 on 1 the other way .. then takes a penalty (weak).

Then for some reason McClellan decides he needs #91 on the PK .. thanks bud...

Special teams killing this team tonight. Think PP and PK are bottom half of the league again. Todd is waiting for more McRushes to prop that PP number back up.

Have we ever had a good puck handling tender? Roloson?

Caggiula must of caught TMac in a compromising position. Spoon fed minutes.

That wasn't a penalty on Cagguila two guys going same direction and he runs into the net its a phantom call. Bad call and of course its in the net. Oilers PP needs an overhaul, its ineptitude finally come home to roost tonight 5 PP and 0 goals

Lucic can't take a pass with the goalie pulled. The worst thing is, it's hard to say he's definitely not the fourth best forward right now. This team has depth issues.

0-5 on the PP and 0-3 on the PK... great special teams tonight.

2016: We need to get heavier, and we need a defenseman!

The funny thing is that they do rather well (at least better) with both while on the road, just like last year. TMac is starting to edge closer to my "must be fired" list again.

During their road trip, they were more aggressive on the PK. I don't understand why they can't do the same at home.... confused2
