If that puck hit Talbot’s shoulder and then the post in January it goes in. Getting some puck luck just in time for the playoffs.

I was pleasantly surprised to check that the score was 3-0. I told my buddy that this game will be 3-3 at some point. It only took 10 minutes!

How could one doubt the braintrust of 6 Cups Kevin Lowe, MacT's E-MBA from Queens, Paul Coffey's skills coach resume, and drunk Gretzky?

Can't you bet during games with sites like Bet 365? I wonder if it was 3-0 Edmonton and you put cash on CBJ winning. Probably a great return.

Imagine how much this would suck if it were game #77 and they blew the 3-0 lead like they have done, but it was in the middle of the playoff race.

Oilers gonna Oil.

What a circle jerk during the intermission about the stroke of genius putting RNH with McDavid.

Again - Absolutely impossible to have predicted any success at all for those 2 1st overall picks together. No chance anyone could have guessed that.

As for this game - Are we the worst team in the NHL at protecting a lead? Does the coach preach a different approach when they are up? Whatever the case, this team does not know what "keep the foot on the gas" means.

TMac is making a good case for getting the ax after the season is over.

Nice, 3 McPoints. Score doesn't matter.

Looks like a circle jerk of a game after we got the 3 McPoints.

Vanek would have been useful this year. But, needed to keep the 6.5M of cap space free in case of a mid-season circle jerking offer sheet or some crap.

I was gonna say, Cap Hit has been invisible this game.

Least he could do is block a shot. Guy is worse than Lucic for 0.5M more cap hit.

Crazy game. Oilers comes out and look sluggish but are up 3-0 so it looks like points night. Then the roof caves in. I didn't think anyone on the team played overly well.
- McDavid got 3 points but his line got OWNED all night defensively.
- None of the lines did anything.
- Nice to see the PK be perfect AND score a shortie.
- The PP scored another goal using the throw out whatever line with 2 dmen. Stick with that.
- The Russell - Bear pairing had problems getting the puck moving out of the zone. Bear defensively looked like a guy that is not NHL ready as he lost a few puck battles that lead to goals.
- The Sekera-Benning pairing I thought was really bad. Benning lost a lot of puck battles again and Sekera was a disaster. He should have got an assist on Atkinson goal as he basically set up him. - -- - - - Larsson - Nurse pairing was the best of the bunch but that isn't saying much.
- Leon's line didn't do much. Did Aberg even play?
- Caggulia remains a mystery to me. He scored his 13th on a beauty shot but was a team worst -4. Is he maybe a 4th liner that you shelter defensively but can slip on a PP unit. Maybe.
- The Lucic - Strome- Puljujarvi line was sleepy with JP being the best of the bunch.
- Slep talks about wanting to play, wanting to opportunity. I know he isn't in the top 6 but since he has been in the line up, I can't remember a game where I noticed him. If you think you deserve more playing time, freaking do something.
- I thought Talbot like the whole team didn't look sharp. Columbus was buzzing but he didn't make a single good save. The Atkinson goal was a good example. It was a prime chance but your team is reeling and needs a big stop. Atkinson put it right through him.
- Brossoit looked like a guy who belongs in the minors. I know Vanek was feeling it but his hat trick goal was flat out bad. Vanek spins and fires but it was a 50 ft, unscreened shot. Stop a puck.

Not a good night on fan appreciation night.

I don't know, there were McPoints, $5 Rogers Dollars, free popcorn, and a coupon for a free sandwich from A&W. That's pretty much as good as IT gets. Go Oilers! Wave Towel

2015/2016 - This Kool-Aid tastes like McDavid flavoured Drain-O.
2016/2017 - This Kool-Aid is starting to taste like juice.
2017/2018 - I'm drinking this Kool-Aid, in hopes that it's Drain-O.
2018/2019 - Another round of Drain-O, good sir!

I am ecstatic at seeing Circle Jerk become a commonly used phrase in multiple threads. It was the highlight of final two periods.
Well, I assume it was, I turned it off after the 2nd.
