Yeah, he seems like quite the player, it's too bad the Oilers never have a chance to grab a kid like that.

Truthfully though, even if the Oilers did draft him they would have found a way to waste him.

This is fine.

Thinking Doug Weight would be more beneficial to a kid like Barzal than TMac. Although Barzal does speak English so he may have seen PP time here after Letestu left.

Just imagine if McDavid and Drai had a guy that could actually handle the puck on their line?

Yeah, but then someone might score goals and the team would have to pay him what he's worth. How could you overpay for guys with MAX GRITENSITY doing that?

This is fine.

2 teams that let in a million goals each. Of course it's 0-0 after 2. Snore.

I hope next year people are allowed to grab Barzal like they can McDavid. Everyone seems scared to touch the kid out there. At the same time, McDavid continues to get mauled and held up all night long.

Icing on a powerplay seems like a great way to spark your special teams game

why do I still have to watch Lucic on the 1st line? He got his fluke goal. Make it stop...

I'd almost rather the Oilers have just lost this one 1-0. Then I could convince myself that they're committed to the tank, but I don't think they are. I think they're trying to win every game, but are simply just a bad hockey team.

McLellan f-ed up. McDavid was out there without Lucic, so he just did stuff himself and scored.

Amazing McDavid can play with a big handicap like the Lucher and still wrack up points. Maclellan better be careful. Actually taking him off the first line might jeopardize his future as the head coach of the Oilers. Chia is watching! Still think he should take stick handling lessons this summer ( Lucic )

WOW. I did not see a tight checking, super defensive game like that between the high flying, high scoring, can't defend in a phone booth Islanders vs pretty much the same in the Oilers.

I like the fact that McLellan tried Nuge on the wing a little bit. IT wasn't much but it was a start. How about trying it for a whole game please!!!

The OT was pretty exciting. Too bad all games couldn't be like that instead of the over coached, lock everything down hockey we normally see most nights for any team.
